Damien Rice “9″ New Album stream
November 7th, 2006
As was previously announced, we can expect to purchase Damien Rice’s long anticipated album “9″ in the US, on November 14. Yes, that is this year, 2006. After his surprising success with “O” he sure spent a lot of time mastering his second album, attempting to avoid a sophmore slump.

When I say alot of time, it’s no exaggeration. It’s been 3 Years since O. I mean, come one now, isn’t that a bit much? “O” was released August 19, 2003. Atleast it’s finally here, but I can’t promise that I’m going to wait around three more years for a third album in 2009.
Currently, listeners can stream Damien Rice’s “9″ online from Warner Bros, who he’s teamed up his newly named label heffa with. He’s also launching a new website design November 10 at damienrice.com
Sufjan Christmas Albums! Songs for Christmas
November 3rd, 2006
I seemed that it would be fitting to have my first blog entry cover one of my favorite artists, Sufjan Stevens.
Sufjan has made his new Christmas boxset is now available for Pre-order and for online streaming from Asthmatic Kitty Records. The boxset includes 5 Christmas volumes,a Christmas song book with chords and lyrics, and some other neat stuff.

I will review the album later after I purchase the box set, and as the Christmas season gets nearer. I’m expecting it to be nonetheless, amazing, as I have already listened to the first three Sufjan Christmas volumes which I found last year were available for free download online.
I love how Sufjan is able to bring new life into the same old, mundane Christmas music that we are all used to. It’s very refreshing, and I can’t wait to receive my box set.
